"Baryon Anomaly at RHIC"

A large baryon yields compared to pion's at the intermediate pT (2-4 GeV/$c$) is one of the surprising d\ iscoveries at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. It brought u\ s several new ideas of hadronization processes and in-medium effects at the extreme high temperature and\ energy density created at RHIC. In this talk, we will review several key experimental results at RHIC w\ ith regards to the baryon anomaly, such as identified single particle spectra, elliptic flow, and jet co\ rrelations in different colliding systems and beam energies. These data will be compare with the quark r\ ecombination and hydrodynamical models.
